Searchers Needed In Hunt For Witchekan Lake Man

A ground search is underway for an Aboriginal man from the Witchekan Lake First Nation.

Search organizer David Crane says they are looking for Draper Lee Jim, who was last seen in Cochin in the early morning hours of February 21st.

Crane says the search began this morning with the help of volunteers, but he says more searchers are needed to cover the large search area.

Crane notes the local community has been very helpful in providing information about the surrounding areas.

He also says they have established a search base phone line for anyone to call if they would like to volunteer their time in the search. That number is (306) 441-4775.
