Saskatchewan Party leader Brad Wall has admitted his party has some policy gaps when it comes to Aboriginal issues.

Wall made the confession yesterday at the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations assembly in Swift Current.

Wall said the party is undertaking a policy review right now, and one area where there needs to be some defining is Aboriginal policy.

He extended an open invitation to the chiefs in attendance to provide input in the process.

Wall also emphasized his party’s recognition of the treaties and promised to make treaty education a priority if he and his party ever form the next government.

He told the chiefs the treaties are the basis for doing business in the province and are here to stay.
