Saskatoon Man Stabbed In Northern Saskatchewan

A 37 year old Saskatoon man is in hospital after being stabbed while working in Ile a la Crosse.

 

The man was stabbed in the chest at approximately 4 am this morning at the fair grounds in Ile a la Crosse following an early morning altercation between local teens and carnival workers.

 

The victim was flown to Saskatoon hospital where he underwent surgery. His condition is still unknown but it is believed, that his wounds are not life threatening.

 

Mounties arrested a 17 year old male from the community and charged him with aggravated assault and two counts of breaching probation.

 

He will appear in court on August 14th.
