Saskatchewan Party leader Brad Wall says his party’s aboriginal platform is solidifying in time for the next provincial election.

The party held its annual convention over the weekend, where a number of First Nation’s leaders were in attendance.

Wall says his party has spent the last three years working on aboriginal policies and talking to grassroots citizens.

He says he was also pleased to receive a vote of confidence from Indian Affairs Minister Jim Prentice.

Wall says both he and Prentice would like to see more home ownership on reserve.
