Sask Liberals Say More Should Be Done For Forestry

The Provincial government is being accused of spending too much time on the energy portfolio and not enough on forestry.
Liberal leader David Karwacki says Lorne Calvert didn’t schedule any forestry meetings on his current trade mission to the U.S.
He says that sends a bad message to an industry that is fighting for its life in both Meadow Lake and Prince Albert.
Karwacki acknowledges it is important to tell other countries about opportunities in oil and gas and uranium. But he feels not enough emphasis is being put on an industry that really needs it.
