Sanderson Found Guilty Of Causing Fatal Crash

A 27-year-old woman accused of causing a fatal rollover near La Ronge two years ago has been found guilty on all counts.

 

The jury hearing the case of Lily Sanderson returned its verdict last night in Prince Albert.

 

The May 2005 crash on a grid road just south of La Ronge claimed the lives of 23-year-old Laura Lee Isbister and 25-year-old Talitha Sanderson.

 

Lily Sanderson was eventually charged with two counts of impaired driving causing death and two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm.

 

She has been released on terms of her present undertaking and will be sentenced on June 8th.
