The one-time president of the Metis Nation of Saskatchewan will have the summer to ponder his legal woes.

Dwayne Roth faces charges of conspiracy to commit forgery and conspiracy to utter forged documents.

They are in relation to alleged actions he took during the controversial MNS election of 2004.

His lawyer appeared yesterday in a Saskatoon courtroom, where the judge set the matter over to September 12th.

Roth will decide at that time whether he wants to be tried by judge or jury.
