Restaurants with germ-covered food prep areas, poor handwashing practices, or other unhealthy practices will no longer be able to keep the problems a secret.

A new website makes the results of restaurant health inspections available to the general public. The Ministry of Health says the public has a right to know whether the places they are eating has been inspected and is operating within public health guidelines.

Information about facilities licensed by health regions is available free of charge at www.health.gov.sk.ca/restaurant-inspections.
