There are reports of a suspected predator on the Ahtahkakoop First Nation and other reserves in that area.

A man in a newer-model white van has reportedly been driving around the reserve the last couple of days approaching children and offering them candy and popsicles.

Reserve resident Jerry Greyeyes, who works at the local radio station, says he’s received several reports of sightings.

Greyeyes says he is now hearing reports that the same white van has been seen on the Whitefish reserve and at Witchekan Lake.

The RCMP have been alerted.
