Report: Shooting Deaths Linked To Gang Activity

The RCMP are investigating a fatal shooting that took place last night in Fort Qu’Appelle.

The police were called shortly after 10:00 pm to a report of several people being shot at a local residence.

The Mounties say two people died at the scene, and three other victims were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

The RCMP say it appears a number of suspects entered the home and then fled after the shooting.

CBC Radio is reporting that neighbours say the people who were shot were members of the Native Syndicate and that those who shot them belong to the Indian Posse.

Anyone with any information about this shooting is asked to not intervene directly, but to call the Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
