Remains Found In Yard Of Regina Residence

Regina police and the chief coroner are still working to determine the identity of the female whose remains were found in a yard in the city Friday evening.

The police service are treating the case as a suspicious death — but haven’t determined the cause or manner of death.

The body was found in the 300 block of Osler Street shortly before 7:45 p.m. on Friday.

That is reportedly very close to where 17-year-old Tara-Lyn Poorman went missing in December — but the police have not linked this discovery with that case.

Anyone who may have information that could assist police in this investigation is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
