Remains Found At Scene Of Sturgeon Landing Fire

It is still not known what caused a fatal house fire late last week at Sturgeon Landing.

The fire was reported at around 11:00 Thursday night.

The remains of 47-year-old Sturgeon Landing resident David Albert Michel were located in the house, which was completely destroyed by the fire.

The RCMP say the home was the man’s residence.

At last word, the official cause of death had yet to be released.
