The CRTC has approved Missinipi Broadcasting Corporation’s application to set up a transmitter in Yorkton.

The decision came down this morning.

MBC CEO Deborah Charles says listeners in that city will be able to hear MBC on 92.9 FM by April.

Charles says Yorkton represents a major step in the southern expansion for Saskatchewan’s Aboriginal Radio Network.

She says MBC is now setting its sights on Regina.
