Record Breaking Dip In Temperature For Key Lake

At least one northern community set a record last night for coldest temperature recorded.
Key Lake hit -48.1 below zero. That breaks the old mark of -46.5 set in 1986.
Other cold spots last night included Stony Rapids at -39.7, La Ronge at -37.8 and Collins Bay at -38.
None of those marks were quite cold enough to go into the record books though.
