RCMP Warn Public About Wanted Man

RCMP in La Ronge are on the lookout for a man wanted for aggravated assault.

Matthew Sandy Allan Charles, who is locally known as Chew, allegedly entered a residence at 8 a.m. on Nov. 18 and used a bladed weapon to assault a 37-year-old woman, whom he knew.

Charles faces charges of breaking and entering with intent, mischief under $5,000, sexual assault, and uttering threats.

Police are concerned for the safety of those who know Charles, because he has known all of his victimes during the reported assaults.

Charles is described as Aboriginal, 5’10” and 178 lbs., with a medium build, brown eyes and black hair.
