Arrests have been made in the September fire of a propane gas outlet in Sucker River.

Fire crews had to douse a blaze that had broken out at the storage tank in the community on September 1st.

Media reports at the time suggested teens had possibly caused the blaze after trying to inhale fumes from the tank when something went wrong.

However, RCMP spokeswoman Sgt. Carole Raymond says investigators believe the matter was nothing more than an act of vandalism.

Two youths, aged 12 and 13, have been charged and are before the courts this week.
