RCMP Release Name Of Victim In Creighton Accident

The name of the victim in the fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision near Creighton yesterday has been released.
The RCMP say 21-year-old Melissa Bighetty died after she was struck by a pickup truck on the Beaver Lake Road between 2:00 and 3:00 yesterday morning.
Bighetty is originally from Sandy Bay, but had been living in Denare Beach at the time.
The Mounties say the driver of the vehicle that hit her was the person who transported her to the Flin Flon hospital.
The Creighton RCMP are asking for any possible witnesses that would have seen a grey truck in the area at around this time.
The investigation is continuing with the assistance from the RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit in Saskatoon.
