RCMP Probe Burning Of La Ronge Woman

The RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating an incident in La Ronge last night that saw a local woman severely burned.
The Mounties say a 26-year-old woman was discovered behind a business on the 500 block of La Ronge Avenue shortly before 9:00 last night suffering from serious burns.
She was eventually transported to a hospital in Saskatoon.
RCMP spokesman Sgt. Brian Jones says the circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation, including the origin and reason for the fire that burned the woman.
Jones notes no structures in the area were damaged by the flames.
No charges have been laid.
