RCMP Officers Fired At On Little Pine

Someone may have fired gunshots at Cut Knife RCMP officers during an alleged assault investigation on the Little Pine First Nation.

At around 3:00 yesterday morning, officers responded to an assault complaint at a reserve residence.

Upon arrival, the Mounties heard gunshots in the vicinity, and managed to escape without injury.

At this point, the RCMP don’t know where the shots originated from or where the shooter was aiming.

The RCMP are continuing to investigate and anyone with information is urged to contact the Cut Knife RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers immediately.
