RCMP Nab Suspect In Death At Saulteaux Reserve

The RCMP have arrested a 23-year-old man from the Saulteaux First Nation in connection to the recent death on the reserve.

Jared Gopher is facing a charge of manslaughter related to the death of 28-year-old Ronald Thomas.

Thomas is believed to have died at a house party sometime on New Year’s Eve or early New Year’s Day.

Gopher made his first court appearance today in North Battleford, but didn’t enter a plea.

He will be back in court on Wednesday.
