The RCMP is investigating three suspicious fires in Black Lake that appear to have been deliberately set.

The first fire took place on Friday, August 6th at 3:30 am at the Black Lake pool hall.

The fire was extinguished with minimal damage to the pool hall.

The second blaze occured two days later at the same pool hall, and this time the building was completely destroyed.

That fire started around 3:15 that morning.

And then at around 4:30 am this past Saturday, police responed to a report of shed fire in a yard in Black Lake.

The fire spread to the home, but was put out before significant damage or injury occured.

The RCMP say there is no indication that the three fires are connected.

They are asking for the public’s help in identifying those responsible.

Anyone who has any information about these incidents is asked to contact the Black Lake RCMP at 439-2185 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
