The Mounties are looking into the sudden death of a woman in the Key Lake area over the weekend.

The RCMP say the 37-year-old victim had been working at a drilling camp about 24 kilometres southwest of the mine site.

The woman was last seen alive at around 10:30 Friday evening.

Other workers in the area organized a search for her the following morning, and discovered her body in the woods about one kilometre from the work camp.

An autopsy has been ordered, but the RCMP do not suspect foul play.

The woman’s name has not been released.
