RCMP Investigating Homicide in Wollaston Lake

A 35-year-old woman from Wollaston Lake has been taken into custody following the death of a man there early yesterday morning.

RCMP haven’t released the name of the victim or how he died, but do identify him as a 40-year-old resident of the community.

The man apparently died at a house on the Hatchet Lake reserve.

RCMP spokesman Brian Jones says a number of outside agencies have been brought in to help police in Wollaston Lake understand what happened.

No charges have been laid against the woman in custody.
