RCMP major crimes investigators are looking into a sudden death on the Standing Buffalo First Nation.

At around 6:45 last night, police were called to a home on the reserve where they found a 57-year-old man dead inside the residence.

RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Carole Raymond says, at this point, it is too early to say whether the death is considered suspicious.

The matter is being investigated by the Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP, the RCMP’s Regina-based Major Crimes Unit and the RCMP’s Forensic Identification Section out of Regina.
