RCMP Investigate Elderly Assault

Cutknife RCMP are currently investigating the assault of a 79 year old man on the Little Pine Lake First Nation.

Officers responded to an assault complaint on the man in his home at approximately 8:45 Sunday night.

The man was then transported to Maidstone hospital with undetermined injuries. He was later flown to an Edmonton hospital in serious condition.

A 49 year old man from the reserve was arrested at the location and taken into custody.

No other information was made available by RCMP.
