RCMP Identify La Ronge Drug Seizure Suspects

Two La Ronge residents were in court yesterday facing several drug charges following an RCMP drug raid last week.

RCMP conducted a search of a home 10 kilometers north of La Ronge last Wednesday afternoon, and recovered about four pounds of marijuana, three firearms, drug paraphernalia and a quantity of cash.

51-year-old Albert Stabner and 34-year-old Rita Morin have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.

Stabner also faces weapons-related charges.

Both Stabner and Morin will make their next court appearance Tuesday, September 12th in La Ronge.
