RCMP Identify Boat Collision Victim

RCMP have released the name of the Buffalo Narrows man who died after two boats collided on Churchill Lake.

Lloyd Daigneault, 40, lost his life after he was thrown from his boat into the water.

The collision occurred Sunday, around 3:30 in the morning.

Investigators say Daigneault was trailing behind another boat in heavy fog when the operator of the lead craft turned around to check on the location of the other baot.

An investigation continues.
