RCMP Identifies Ile-a-la-Crosse Beating Victim

A 19-year-old Ile-a-la-Crosse man accused of killing another man from the northern village in a street fight over the weekend will be back in court June 14th.

Quentin Gardiner was arrested and charged with second degree murder following the beating death of 22-year-old Robin Caisse early Saturday morning in Ile-a-la-Crosse.

The RCMP say the victim was seriously assaulted in the attack.

Gardiner made his first court appearance in Meadow Lake yesterday.

His court appearance next month will take place in Ile-a-la-Crosse.
