RCMP Divers Searching Lac La Ronge For Missing Boy

The search is continuing today for a missing 6 year old boy in Sucker River.

RCMP, along with local searchers, are continuing to comb through areas surrounding the small northern community of Sucker River.

Local volunteers and approximately 11 boats were on the lake yesterday helping in the search for the missing child, who was believed to be with another youngster who was found deceased floating in Lac La Ronge on Monday night.

Mounties say the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team arrived in the community late yesterday and after surveying the area, will begin diving operations today.
