RCMP Dive Team Summoned To Wollaston Lake

An official with the RCMP says a dive team has been called in to search for a missing man from Wollaston Lake.

Cpl. Bill Betker says 30-year-old Mike St. Pierre was last seen late Thursday or early Friday morning on the water.

He was taking a boat for ride when he disappeared into the fog.

That’s the last anyone has seen of him.

Betker says foggy conditions prevented the dive team from entering the water yesterday.

Local residents are also aiding in the search.

A band councillor says everyone has their fingers crossed St. Pierre will be discovered alive and well.
