The RCMP say there could still be more people charged in connection to the controversial 2004 Metis Nation of Saskatchewan election.
Former MNS president Dwayne Roth is facing charges of conspiracy to commit forgery and conspiracy to utter forged documents.
Roth appeared before a judge yesterday in Saskatoon.
The RCMP say Brian Amyotte and Lyle Lee have also been charged with similar offence.
Both men are from North Battleford and also held positions with the MNS.
A total of 13 people have been charged in relation to the 2004 MNS election.
RCMP spokeswoman Heather Russell says more charges could possibly be laid against other individuals, but it’s too soon to say for sure.
A new MNS election with stricter controls will be held on June 27th.
