Another person has been charged with second degree murder in relation to a death in La Loche two years ago.

RCMP say a youth has been formerly implicated in the death of 19-year-old Blair Lemaigre.

The suspect will be making his first court appearance in La Loche on Monday.

Lemaigre was found fatally injured in a La Loche parking lot in the early morning hours of May 19th, 2007.

That brings to five the number of people charged in connection to his death.

Murray Piche, Ronald Herman and Elton Herman are already before the courts, as well as another young offender.

RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Carole Raymond says she’s not sure if any more charges will be laid.

Raymond says the charge was laid by the RCMP’s Saskatoon-based major crimes unit, which continues to investigate the case.
