The administration office on the Clearwater River Dene Nation is back up and running.
According to Chief Roy Cheechum, an agreement was reached between him and some of the demonstrators yesterday.
The dissidents put padlocks on the office Monday morning, in a bid to call attention to several complaints over things like jobs and consultation.
Cheechum says he will sit down with a couple of the protesters in the coming days to hear their concerns directly.
He says there are a number of scheduled events over the next few days that must be attended to, so the meeting might not happen right away, but it will take place.
Cheechum also says he will try and be more vocal about projects happening on the reserve in the future.
However, he is mainly glad no one got hurt during the dispute and that cooler heads prevailed.
