The provincial government will hold a strategy meeting on renewable resources tonight in Prince Albert.

Environment Minister David Forbes says the purpose of the session is to gain more feedback from the public on how they want to see things like fish, wildlife and wilderness areas protected.

At the same time, Forbes says citizens will be asked for their opinions on development issues.

Ducks Unlimited, The Meadow Lake Tribal Council and Prince Albert Metis Local #7 are just a few of the groups scheduled to participate.

The gathering will take place at the Prince Albert Inn, beginning at 7:00.
