The investigation into the cause of a helicopter crash near Wollaston Lake is now over.

On August 21st, a 33-year-old pilot from Alberta was lightly injured when his chopper went down after becoming entangled in a line used for heavy lifting.

The line got tangled up in the tail rotor after it snapped while carrying some cargo.

Peter Hildebrandt of the Transportation Safety Board says the pilot had no choice but to put the helicopter down.

Hildebrandt says their investigation is pretty much over and they will be returning what is left of the aircraft to its owner.
