Prisoner Escapes While Attending Funeral

The RCMP are on the lookout for an escaped prisoner who was granted an escorted pass to a funeral earlier this week in the Punnichy district.

 

24-year-old Tristan Lee Raphael was in custody at the Saskatoon Provincial Correction Center and was allowed to attend a family funeral on the Muskowekwan First Nation.

 

He was wearing leg shackles, but was still able to get away from his escorts Monday afternoon.

 

Raphael is of First Nations ancestry, is 6′ tall, weighs 180 lbs. and has black hair and brown eyes.

 

He also has a history of violent crimes and is considered dangerous.

 

Raphael has family connections in the Punnichy and Regina areas.

 

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the RCMP immediately.
