Prince Albert has been added to the federal government’s urban Aboriginal strategy initiative.

P.A. is one of four cities that will benefit from the one-year, $25 million expansion.

Saskatoon and Regina are already part of the strategy.

A spokesperson for Indian affairs says the money will be used on a variety of projects benefiting city dwellers who are non-status Indians or Metis.

Information gathered from those efforts will then be used to address long-term social problems.
