Powerful Winds Blow Through Buffalo Narrows

Some residents in Buffalo Narrows are picking up trees today after high winds buffeted the community last night.
A clerk at the village office says no structural damage to buildings was reported, but a significant number of trees and underbrush were scattered.
Dan Kulak of Environment Canada says the wind in Buffalo Narrows was reported to be 113 km/h at 8:35 last night.
Kulak says Buffalo Narrows wasn’t the hardest-hit northern community last night.
A wind in Tadoule Lake, Manitoba was reported at 175 km/h.
