Power Outage Leaves Northwest In The Dark

A spokesman for Saskpower says it took crews nearly twelve hours to get all of Northwest Saskatchewan back up and running yesterday (thur) after a power outage.
Larry Christie says the transmission grid for the region first went down around ten in the morning.
He says the reason for the outage was a failed regulator in the lines.
That part was repaired at 2:30 in the afternoon, and power was restored to everyone except La Loche.
He says the problem wasn’t anyone’s fault and thanks customers for their patience.
