Possible Sighting Of Fugitive In Flin Flon

A spokesman for the RCMP confirms an escaped criminal from the United States has reportedly been sighted in Flin Flon.

However, Sergeant Brad Kaeding points out that authorities don’t know for sure whether the man spotted was actually 47-year-old Richard McNair.

Authorities have been on the lookout for the convicted killer since April when he was sighted in British Columbia.

Kaeding says residents are asked to contact the Mounties if they think they’ve actually seen the fugitive.

McNair is Caucasian, stands 6 feet tall, weighs 210 lbs., and has brown hair and blue eyes.

On April 5th, he escaped from a Louisiana prison, where he was serving a life sentence for murder and burglary.
