Political Landscape On Saulteaux Reserve Changing

There will be a lot of new faces on the Saulteaux First Nation council in a couple of weeks.

Fifteen people are running for five seats as councilors in the April 28th election.

Officials list just one of them — Oscar Gopher — as an incumbent.

Three people are running for chief to replace Sarah Gopher.

They are former band councillor Kenny Moccasin, Rodney Gopher and Jerry Gopher.
