Police Seek Suspect In Beach Shooting

The RCMP is asking for the public’s help in tracking down whoever was responsible for a shooting at a beach on the Big River reserve earlier this month.

At around 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 1, an individual walked towards a crowd of people at Miami Beach and fired several shots from a rifle.

The suspect also fired several shots towards a vehicle, before getting into another vehicle and fleeing the scene.

The RCMP say it is believed the shooter was not alone in the vehicle.
