Police Offer Reward In Case Of Missing Regina Teen

The Regina Police Service is offering a $25,000 reward “for information leading directly to the discovery of the whereabouts” of a missing Aboriginal teenager.

 

The police call it their “next step in the investigation” of 17-year-old Tara-Lyn Poorman’s disapperance.

 

Poorman was last seen at a residence in the 400 block of Halifax Street on December 12th, 2008.

 

Police Chief Troy Hagen says anyone with knowledge of any event, behaviour or other unusual activity connected with Poorman to contact the Regina Police Service.

 

The police say a new toll-free telephone number (1-866-808-2672) and special e-mail address (tips@police.regina.sk.ca) have been established for this purpose.

 

Anyone with information can also contact the Regina Police Service at 777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

 

Poorman is 5’3” tall, weighs about 130 pounds, has a medium build, long brown hair with highlights, and brown eyes.

 

She also has a beauty mark under her right eye and wears glasses.

 

Poorman was last seen wearing a long purple shirt, black leggings, a black three-quarter length winter coat and black suede knee-high boots.
