Four men from Saskatchewan’s far north have been charged in connection to a stabbing incident in Prince Albert this past weekend.

At about 1:00 Sunday morning, police responded to a report of a disturbance in the West Hill area — where they found two men who had been stabbed during an altercation.

A short while later, 25-year-old George Joseyunen of Wollaston Lake, 18-year-old Earl Gezayue of Black Lake, 20-year-old Marc Tsannie of Wollaston Lake, and 19-year-old Durryl Joseyunen of Wollaston Lake were arrested near the scene and charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

All four have made their first appearances in court.

Gezayue will return tomorrow, while the other three have been released until their next court appearances on August 26th.
