Prince Albert police have closed the file on the death of a northern woman in the city last year.

20-year-old Melissa Ratt of La Ronge died after apparently exiting a moving vehicle in the early morning hours of September 13th.

Officers initially questioned the driver of the vehicle, but found no evidence of foul play.

Sergeant Al Fraser says the driver of the vehicle was questioned again by a police force in another province.

The investigation continued into the New Year, and now, toxicology reports have been returned to the force.

Fraser says they can’t find anything to suggest foul play.

They consider the matter closed.
