The Transportation Safety Board confirms a plane had to make an emergency landing in Fond du Lac late last week.

The incident took place Friday morning and involved a Piper PA-350 owned by National Aviation.

At least one eyewitness claims the back left wheel of the plane wouldn’t deploy, forcing the pilot to land on the wheels he did have.

It’s believed the plane sustained damage to the underside of its tail section and its left wing.

No one was hurt in the landing, and the safety board says it won’t be investigating.

It lists the official explanation for the crash as a failure of landing gear.
