A pilot who flew with the late Andy Clark says he won’t forget his friend’s dedication on the job or his devotion to his family.

It’s been three days since a water-bomber crash near La Ronge, which claimed the life of the 54 year-old pilot and injured two others.

Clark had 22 years experience with Northern Air Operations and was highly respected according to his peers.

He leaves behind a wife and 3 children.

Jim Stockdale is a pilot himself and worked alongside Clark. He says his friend was a hardworking man with a deep devotion to family.

Meanwhile, the accident also injured another pilot at Northern Air Operations. Dean Stueck had 28 years experience in the air.

Gord Niven is a fellow pilot who knew both men. He says Stueck only had one concern as he was led away in an ambulance.

Both men say the accident has been a major blow to the family, the community and everyone at Northern Air Operations. But they’re trying to make it through as best they can.

Still, their foremost concern is for the family of the late Andy Clark.
