Petit Named New Keewatin Yatthe CEO

Richard Petit has been hired as the CEO of the Keewatin Yatthe Regional Health Authority in northwest Saskatchewan.

Petit has worked for the health region since 1999, and was most recently the Director of Corporate Services.

He had been filling the CEO position on an interim basis during the interview process.

Petit says that he was fairly used to the job by the time he was officially hired.

Former CEO Carol Gillis resigned from her post at Keewatin Yatthe last year.

Petit says that retaining staff will be one of the things he will focus on in his new position.
