Pelican Narrows To Host Hearing Regarding Homicide

A preliminary hearing has been set for two men accused of killing another man in Pelican Narrows.

30-year-old Oliver Dorion and 31-year-old Darren Dorion have been charged with the second-degree murder of James Ballantyne.

The 24-year-old man was fatally injured outside a home on the reserve on March 26th.

Officers found the victim after being summoned to a house at 2:30 that morning.

The two suspects will appear before a judge in Pelican Narrows on November 24th.
