Pelican Narrows Murder Case Adjourned to the Fall

A woman accused of killing her common-law husband in Pelican Narrows will be making her next court appearance in November.

27-year-old Geraldine Bloomfield was charged after 32-year-old Cameron Ballantyne died in hospital as a result of stab wounds he suffered at a residence on the reserve.

The incident took place during the early morning hours of April 19th.

Bloomfield’s preliminary hearing is set for November 23rd.
